Goodyear – UltraGrip

I worked with the fine folks at Pretzel Films to create a beautiful introduction to the latest tyre from Goodyear. I’d always hoped that their headquarters and boardroom were on the blimp itself, but alas, I never got to find out for myself.

The tiny sine-wave trenches built into the tyre, which, due to an equal measure of science and magic draws water up from the road surface to prevent aqua-planing, formed the basis for a recurring glowing pulse motif throughout the film. We also provided titles, dashboard replacements, and statistical readouts localised for several countries.
